Opera 91ÊÓÆµ to Present Spring Concert, April 11

Opera 91ÊÓÆµ will present “Flirtatious, Frustrating and Fatal Attractions” at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 11 in Orr Auditorium.  The program is free and open to the public.

91ÊÓÆµ students will perform scenes from The Tales of Hoffmann, Norma, Carmen, Das Land des Lachelns, Cosi fan tutte, II Barbiere di Siviglia, Martha, Zigeunerliebe, L’Eliser d’Amore, The Merry Widow, and Giulio Cesare.

The event is coordinated by stage director Dr. Anne Hagan Bentz, 91ÊÓÆµ associate professor of music. The performance will be conducted by Mihai Valcu, adjunct music faculty. 91ÊÓÆµ adjunct music faculty Marie Libal-Smith is pianist and an orchestra of 91ÊÓÆµ faculty, students, and guest musicians will provide instrumental support.
