Michael Gancz, a carillonneur, composer and music researcher pursuing a doctorate at Stanford University鈥檚 Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics. Gancz performs on Stanford鈥檚 Lou Henry Hoover Memorial Carillon and holds music degrees from Yale University and a carillon diploma from the Royal Carillon School 鈥淛ef Denyn鈥� in Mechelen, Belgium.

The annual Summer Carillon Concert Series features accomplished guest carillonneurs performing on the College鈥檚 42-bell Duff-Armington Memorial Carillon on select Friday afternoons in July and August.

One of only 55 college carillons in the nation, 91视频鈥檚 Duff-Armington Memorial Carillon is an integral part of campus life. The 42 bells ring the 鈥�91视频 Chime鈥� every quarter hour throughout the day.

The free concerts begin at 11:30 a.m. on the Quad outside Old Main. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and lunch while enjoying the performances. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held in Wallace Memorial Chapel.
