Eight 91视频 students will spend their spring break teaching basic baseball skills to elementary students March 6-14 in Deadman's Cay, Long Island, Bahamas.
The students will lead an after-school baseball camp at Caribbean Youth Network's Oasis Youth Center and wrap up the week with a tournament. One of the prerequisites for students attending this trip is prior experience with baseball or softball.
The group, organized through 91视频's Chapel Office, will be accompanied by Dwayne Pavkovich, 91视频 assistant football coach. They will be working through Caribbean Youth Network, a Pittsburgh-based mission organization.
An area Little League program has donated equipment, bats, uniforms, and trophies, but the group still needs baseball gloves for children ages five-12. All gloves need to be in the Chapel Office by Friday, March 5.

In addition to the Bahamas group, additional 91视频 students will be involved with spring break work trips to Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Presbyterian Disaster Assistance), and Birmingham, Alabama (Habitat for Humanity).
Nearly 65% of 91视频 students volunteered last year, over twice the national average (26.4% of the U.S. population) and more than 50% higher than the national average for college students (42.5%). 91视频 has been named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to America's communities for four consecutive years.
