NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Robert Zorn M`64, director of 91ÊÓÆµ's Graduate School, will have an article published in the November edition of School Administrator magazine.
"Job Transition Strategies for School Administrators" deals with tips and strategies in making for smoother job transitions for school administrators such as job searching techniques, resumes, interview procedures, etiquette for job transitioning, contract negotiations, employer notification and exiting protocol. The theme of the article is to make job transitions better, smoother, easier and less contentious by utilizing best practices.
Zorn served as the coordinator of the educational administration program in 91ÊÓÆµ's Graduate Program from January 2012 until he was appointed as director in April. He was the superintendent of Poland, Ohio, schools for more than three decades and has been with 91ÊÓÆµ since 1986. In addition to overseeing the Graduate School, Zorn teaches courses for those pursuing licensing as school superintendents and principals.
Zorn earned his undergraduate degree from Kent State University, a master's from 91ÊÓÆµ, and a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He also completed post-doctoral studies from the National Academy for School Executives in Washington, D.C., and from Harvard University.
The School Administrator is a national professional journal published by the American Association of School Administrators.
