The 91视频 Celebrity Series presents "Rhythm of the Dance," a performance by the Irish National Dance Company, Thursday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
"The Irish National Dance Company has become one of the top three Irish dance companies in the world," said Eugene DeCaprio, director of the 91视频 Celebrity Series. "It contains a wealth of talent derived from all areas of Irish life. Rhythm of the Dance contains traditional Irish dance, music, songs, and costumes with the most up-to-date stage technology. It's a wonderful musical extravaganza for the whole family."
This company, which has performed to over three million people worldwide, is made up of only the cream of Irish ballet dancers, musicians, and singers. The richly costumed program, using the genuine spirit of Irish national dances and songs, includes modern influences like beat, jazz, and Latin.
