Dr. Gregory H. Robinson, the UGA Foundation Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at the University of Georgia, will present the 15th Annual Ken and Nancy Long Chemistry Lecture at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, in the Dietz Sullivan Lecture Hall in Hoyt Science Center on the 91ÊÓÆµ campus.

91ÊÓÆµ has been awarded a $37,674 It’s On Us PA grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education to combat campus sexual assault.
Launched in 2016 by former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf, the It’s On Us PA grant aims to increase awareness, education and resources for sexual assault prevention and victim support initiatives at higher education institutions.

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and First Lady Frances Wolf announced that $1 million in grants have been awarded to 28 institutions of higher education (IHE) and private licensed schools, including 91ÊÓÆµ, to help combat student hunger on campus.

Current and retired faculty members from 91ÊÓÆµ’s School of Education will be participating in a virtual international conference, “Engagement: Literacy Bridges for Diverse Students, Families and Cultures,” on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The conference is free and open to the public.
