Thursday, October 6, 2016

Dear Students,

As you know, the upcoming presidential election has been generating a great deal of public interest nationwide. The importance of having a say in this election cannot be understated.

To this end, the Department of State, which administers elections in Pennsylvania, has prepared a Guide as well as a list of frequently asked questions to help you navigate the registration and voting process. You can access the Guide by clicking on the link below:

http://www.votespa.com/en-us/Pages/College-Student.aspx

There you will find information about the qualifications necessary to become eligible to vote in Pennsylvania, voter registration options and methods available, and the process for casting your votes, including voting by absentee ballot or at the polls on Election Day. Later this semester members of our student body will be providing additional voting information and assistance to the campus community.

Remember, the last day to register to vote is Tuesday, October 11th. Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th.

Your vote is your voice!

Sincerely,
Neal
